Simplicalc is currently in early access. This means the app is actively being developed and may contain bugs, incomplete features, or unexpected behavior. Features may be added, changed, or removed at any time without prior notice.

By downloading and using Simplicalc during early access, you acknowledge and agree that:

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
The developer is not responsible for any crashes, data loss, device issues, or unexpected behavior that may occur as a result of using this app.
You use this software at your own risk.
Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of these terms.

Privacy Policy

The short version

Simplicalc collects no personal data and sends nothing off your device. Everything stays on your phone. That's what "fast & private" means.

What information does Simplicalc store?

Simplicalc stores the following information locally on your device only, using Android's standard local storage. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to any server, third party, or developer.

App settings — your chosen color palette, accent color, key style, layout preferences, and lettering options.
Calculation history — only if you explicitly enable the history feature in Settings. History is off by default. You can clear it or disable it at any time.
Unlock state — whether you have unlocked special themes or features through in-app interactions.

This information exists solely to remember your preferences between sessions. It is stored on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

What information does Simplicalc NOT collect?

No personal information (name, email, phone number, age)
No location data
No camera or microphone access
No contacts or files
No analytics or usage tracking
No advertising identifiers
No crash reporting or diagnostic data sent externally
No account or sign-in required

Does Simplicalc share any data?

No. Simplicalc does not share, sell, trade, or transmit any data — because it does not collect any data to begin with. There are no third-party SDKs, analytics services, or advertising networks integrated into this app.

Internet access

Simplicalc performs all calculations locally on your device. No internet connection is required or used for the calculator's core functionality. The app does not make any network requests during normal use.

Children's privacy

Simplicalc does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no data is collected, the app is safe for users of all ages.

Data retention & deletion

All locally stored data (settings, history, unlock state) is stored only on your device. You can clear your calculation history at any time from within the app (Settings → Privacy & History → Clear all). Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data permanently.

Changes to this policy

As Simplicalc grows out of early access and new features are introduced, this policy may be updated. If any future version of the app collects data that this policy does not describe, this page will be updated and the effective date will change.
